...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 6 AM TO 9 PM AKST TUESDAY...

* WHAT...Snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 4 to 8 inches
for Seward to Summit Lake and 6 to 12 inches for Turnagain Pass
and Eastern Turnagain Arm.

* WHERE...East Turnagain Arm and Western Prince William Sound,
including Whittier, Girdwood, and Seward.

* WHEN...From 6 AM to 9 PM AKST Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Bands of heavy snow are possible across
Eastern Turnagain Arm and the Seward Highway corridor beginning
Tuesday morning. Snowfall rates may approach 1-2 inches per hour
in heavy snow leading to significantly reduced visibility of one
half mile or less at times.
