Details:
...BLIZZARD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 3 PM AKST MONDAY...

* WHAT...Blizzard conditions expected. Visibilities reduced to
one-quarter mile or less due to blowing and drifting snow. Winds
gusting as high as 60 mph. Wind Chills falling to as low as 35
below zero by Saturday night.

* WHERE...Interior Kuskokwim Delta from north and west of Bethel,
including Nunapitchuk, and the Kuskokwim Delta Coast and Nunivak
Island, especially from Kipnuk north and west.

* WHEN...Until 3 PM AKST Monday.

* IMPACTS...Areas of blowing snow could significantly reduce
visibility. Frostbite may occur in as little as 10 minutes on
exposed skin.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Increasing northerly winds today will begin
to loft snow that fell earlier in the week, leading to blowing and
drifting snow that may significantly reduce visibilities. There is
some uncertainty regarding the quantity of transportable snow.
Visibility reductions from blowing/drifting snow will be lowest in
areas that received more snowfall earlier in the week,
particularly from Kipnuk north and west as well as from north and
west of Bethel, including Nunapitchuk. Visibility will improve
with diminishing winds on Monday.

Information:
A Blizzard Warning means severe winter weather conditions are
expected or occurring. Falling and blowing snow with strong winds
and poor visibilities are likely. This will lead to whiteout
conditions, making travel very hazardous. If you must travel, have a
winter survival kit with you. If you get stranded, stay with your
vehicle.
