...HYDROLOGIC OUTLOOK REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH FRIDAY MORNING FOR THE SEWARD PENINSULA... ESFAFG Areas of concern are between Nome and Council, particularity streams and rivers draining the south aspects of the high elevation terrain of the Seward Peninsula. Rivers and streams in the Nome and Council area are already high following rainfall over the weekend and early this week. Around 0.25 to 0.50" of additional rain is expected by the end of the week which will keep water levels high. No flooding is expected but those along the rivers and streams should be vigilant of the high water that is expected through the end of the week.
