Rain should continue through Wednesday morning with storm total rainfall of up to 2 inches expected. With already saturated ground conditions across the region, the heavy rain may cause minor pooling/ponding of water beginning on Tuesday. Mainstem river flooding is not expected, but high water levels and bankfull conditions are likely through the week as area rivers respond to the rain.
