...The National Weather Service in Birmingham AL has issued a Flood
Warning for the following rivers in Alabama...

Black Warrior River At Selden Lock and Dam affecting Marengo,
Greene and Hale Counties.

.Heavy rainfall of 2 to 3 inches has occurred the past several days
over the Black Warrior River basin, and a flood warning is now in
effect for the Black Warrior River.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Black Warrior River at Selden Lock and Dam.

* WHEN...From Tuesday evening to Friday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 90.0 feet, Pasture and wood lands begin to flood.
Livestock should be moved to higher ground at stages above 90 feet.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 7:45 PM CST Sunday the stage was 75.5 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
late Tuesday evening to a crest of 91.5 feet early Thursday
morning. It will then fall below flood stage early Friday
morning.
- Flood stage is 90.0 feet.

Information:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Tombigbee River At Gainesville Lock and Dam affecting Sumter,
Marengo and Greene Counties.

.Heavy rainfall of 2 to 3 inches has occurred the past several days
over the Tombigbee River basin, and a flood warning is now in effect
for the Tombigbee River.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Tombigbee River at Gainesville Lock and Dam.

* WHEN...From Tuesday afternoon to early Thursday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 101.0 feet, Flooding of low lying agricultural and
wooded lands in the area occurs.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 7:45 PM CST Sunday the stage was 88.1 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
Tuesday afternoon to a crest of 101.2 feet early Wednesday
morning. It will then fall below flood stage early Wednesday
afternoon.
- Flood stage is 101.0 feet.
