Seas 3 to 5 feet on the Central and Eastern Long Island Sound. For the Gale Warning, west winds 25 to 35 kt. Seas 5 to 8 feet expected on the Central and Eastern Long Island Sound. * WHERE...Long Island Sound east of Port Jefferson and New Haven, and Peconic and Gardiners Bays. * WHEN...For the Small Craft Advisory, until 6 AM EST Friday. For the Gale Warning, from 6 AM Friday to midnight EST Friday night. * IMPACTS...Strong winds will cause hazardous seas which could capsize or damage vessels and reduce visibility.
