* WHAT...For the first Small Craft Advisory, southwest winds 10
to 20 kt with gusts up to 25 kt. For the second Small Craft
Advisory, north winds 10 to 15 kt with gusts up to 20 kt
expected.

* WHERE...Chesapeake Bay from Drum Point MD to Smith Point VA,
Tidal Potomac from Cobb Island MD to Smith Point VA, Patuxent
River to Broomes Island MD and Tangier Sound and the inland
waters surrounding Bloodsworth Island.

* WHEN...For the first Small Craft Advisory, until 4 PM EDT this
afternoon. For the second Small Craft Advisory, from midnight
tonight to 6 AM EDT Thursday.

* IMPACTS...Conditions will be hazardous to small craft.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Gusts to near 30 knots are possible over
the main channel of the Chesapeake Bay between Sandy Point and
Drum Point MD this evening. Waves of 2 to 4 feet are expected
tonight for the main channel of the Chesapeake Bay between
Pooles Island MD and Smith Point VA, and near the mouth of
some of the larger tidal tributaries.

Information:
Inexperienced mariners, especially those operating smaller
vessels, should avoid navigating in hazardous conditions.
