...HIGH RIP CURRENT RISK IN EFFECT FROM SATURDAY MORNING THROUGH LATE MONDAY NIGHT...

* WHAT...Dangerous rip currents expected.

* WHERE...In Alabama, Mobile Coastal and Baldwin Coastal
Counties. In Florida, Escambia Coastal, Santa Rosa Coastal and
Okaloosa Coastal Counties.

* WHEN...From Saturday morning through late Monday night.

* IMPACTS...Rip currents can sweep even the best swimmers away
from shore into deeper water.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Surf will also build along the Alabama and
western Florida panhandle beaches through the weekend. Surf
breakers may build as high as 4 to 7 feet late Saturday night
through Sunday night before gradually subsiding into Monday. A
High Surf Advisory may be issued within the next 12 to 24 hours
if confidence in these trends continues to increase.

Information:
Swim near a lifeguard. If caught in a rip current, relax and
float. Don't swim against the current. If able, swim in a
direction following the shoreline. If unable to escape, face the
shore and call or wave for help.
