Chariton River near Chariton affecting Lucas, Appanoose, Wayne and Monroe Counties. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...The Chariton River near Chariton, or from Wolf Creek to Rathbun Reservoir. * WHEN...From Thursday morning to tomorrow evening. * IMPACTS...At 19.8 feet, Water affects 450th St. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 6:45 PM CDT Wednesday the stage was 16.6 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 19.5 feet tomorrow morning. It will then fall below flood stage early tomorrow afternoon. - Flood stage is 19.5 feet.
