East Fork White River at Seymour. .Minor to moderate flooding continues on the East Fork White. Additional rainfall of 0.75 to 1.25 inches from this morning through Friday morning was included in the forecast. The initial crest on the East Fork is at Shoals, with an additional lower secondary crest expected at Seymour on Saturday and working its way downriver from there. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...East Fork White River at Seymour. * WHEN...Until early Monday morning. * IMPACTS...At 15.6 feet, Jackson County Sheriff additional roads closed: CR 25 N through Honeytown, Slab Road between the river and Ewing, Rockford Road near the skating rink, SR 235 from Medora to SR 135. All these closings found in the republic.com site published in Columbus, IN. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 10:45 AM EDT Thursday the stage was 14.3 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 10:45 AM EDT Thursday was 14.3 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 15.6 feet early tomorrow afternoon.
