* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Ohio River at Mount Vernon.

* WHEN...Until tomorrow morning.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 6:00 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 36.2 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
just after midnight tonight and continue falling to 24.2 feet
Sunday, March 22.
- Flood stage is 35.0 feet.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood

White River at Edwardsport.

White River at Elliston.

White River at Hazleton.

White River at Petersburg.

...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in
Indiana...Illinois...

Wabash River at Mount Carmel.

.Minor to moderate flooding continues on the White River and minor
flooding continues on the lower Wabash at Mount Carmel. Additional
rainfall of half an inch to 1.25 inches from this morning through
Friday morning was included in the forecast. The initial crest on
the White is at Petersburg, but an additional lower crest is
expected to start working its way down the river Thursday and bring
minor flooding back to Elliston by Thursday evening. The crest on
the Wabash should reach Mount Carmel on Sunday.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Wabash River at Mount Carmel.

* WHEN...Until Saturday, March 21.

* IMPACTS...At 23.9 feet, Extensive lowland flooding in progress. In
Wabash County Illinois, South Division Street and 1.5 miles of CR
1280 E remain flooded.  High water blocks access to cabins along
South Division Street and some nearby oil fields.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 11:45 AM EDT Thursday /10:45 AM CDT Thursday/ the stage
was 22.6 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 11:45 AM EDT Thursday /10:45 AM CDT Thursday/ was
22.6 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 23.8
feet early Sunday morning. It will then fall below flood
stage Friday, March 20.
- Flood stage is 19.0 feet.

.Due to recent heavy rainfall, the Wabash River will continue rising
to a crest of 18.2 feet Sunday afternoon.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Wabash River at New Harmony.

* WHEN...Until Saturday, March 21.

* IMPACTS...At 19.0 feet, Harmonie State Park is closed. Surrounding
bottomland is flooded.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 9:30 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 16.4 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 18.2
feet early Sunday afternoon. It will then fall below flood
stage Saturday, March 21.
- Flood stage is 15.0 feet.
