Ohio River at Mount Vernon affecting Union, Vanderburgh, Posey and Henderson Counties. Ohio River at J.T. Myers Dam affecting Union and Posey Counties. Ohio River at Newburgh Dam affecting Vanderburgh, Spencer, Warrick, Daviess and Henderson Counties. Ohio River at Shawneetown affecting Union, Crittenden, Gallatin and Hardin Counties. .Recent heavy rain will cause minor flooding along portions of the Ohio River. For the Ohio River...including Owensboro, Newburgh Dam, Evansville, Henderson, Mount Vernon, J.T. Myers Dam, Shawneetown, Golconda, Smithland Dam, Paducah, Olmsted Lock and Dam, Cairo...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Ohio River at Mount Vernon. * WHEN...Until Friday morning. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 6:00 AM CDT Wednesday the stage was 36.7 feet. - Forecast...The river will rise to 36.8 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage early Friday morning to 31.7 feet early Monday afternoon. It will rise to 31.8 feet Tuesday evening. It will then fall again and remain below flood stage. - Flood stage is 35.0 feet.
