* WHAT...West winds to 40 knots and waves 10 to 14 feet expected.

* WHERE...The nearshore waters of Lake Ontario from the Niagara
River to Hamlin Beach.

* WHEN...Until 11 AM EDT Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...Strong winds will cause hazardous waves which could
capsize or damage vessels and reduce visibility.
