* WHAT...Dangerously hot conditions with heat index values 98 to 115
expected. The worst of this heat and humidity will be Thursday and
Friday.

* WHERE...All of southern New England except the Cape and Islands.

* WHEN...From 10 AM this morning to 8 PM EDT Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Heat related illnesses increase significantly during
extreme heat and high humidity events.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...This is a prolonged and dangerous heatwave
with little relief at night.
