Details:
...WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 PM EST FRIDAY...

* WHAT...Heavy snow. Additional snow accumulations as high as 12 to
18 inches, particularly over portions of Antrim, Kalkaska,
Crawford, and southeastern Otsego counties...with additional
amounts of 6 to 10 inches elsewhere. Winds gusting as high as 40
mph.

* WHERE...Antrim, Charlevoix, Otsego, Montmorency, Kalkaska,
Crawford, Oscoda, Missaukee, Roscommon, Ogemaw counties.

* WHEN...Until 7 PM EST Friday.

* IMPACTS...Travel will be very treacherous, particularly beneath
the heaviest snow bands, where snowfall rates of 1 to 2 inches per
hour will lead to whiteout conditions and roads quickly becoming
snow covered.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The heaviest band is expected to impact parts
of US-131 between Elmira and Fife Lake...and I-75 just north of
Waters (exit 270) to Roscommon. This band may impact the I-75
corridor between Roscommon and West Branch this afternoon.

Information:
If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in
your vehicle in case of an emergency. Turn on headlights so oncoming
traffic can see your headlights...and following traffic can see your
taillights.
