...WINTER STORM WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 AM CDT FRIDAY... * WHAT...Heavy snow and areas of blowing snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 2 and 6 inches. Winds gusting as high as 50 mph. * WHERE...East Polk, Pennington, and Red Lake Counties. * WHEN...Until 7 AM CDT Friday. * IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. Blowing snow will lead to areas of quick and sudden reductions to visibility, making travel difficult, especially in rural areas that are prone to blowing snow. The hazardous conditions will impact the Thursday evening and Friday morning commutes.
