...HIGH WIND WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM MIDNIGHT TONIGHT TO 10 AM CDT FRIDAY...

* WHAT...West to northwest winds 30 to 40 mph with gusts up to 60
mph expected.

* WHERE...Portions of north central and northeast Iowa and southeast
Minnesota.

* WHEN...From midnight tonight to 10 AM CDT Friday.

* IMPACTS...Damaging winds will blow down trees and power lines.
Widespread power outages are expected. Travel will be difficult,
especially for high profile vehicles.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Any snow that occurs with these winds will
quickly lead to whiteout conditions and make travel very difficult.

Information: 
Remain in the lower levels of your home during the windstorm, and
avoid windows. Watch for falling debris and tree limbs. Use caution
if you must drive.
