Marais Des Cygnes River near Trading Post affecting Bates and
Linn Counties.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Marais Des Cygnes River near Trading Post.

* WHEN...From late Tuesday night to Thursday evening.

* IMPACTS...At 27.0 feet, Flooding of low-lying farmland occurs and
water begins to approach Stateline Road north of the river gauge.
At 29.0 feet, Stateline Road is flooded north of the river gauge.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 6:45 PM CDT Monday the stage was 20.0 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
early Wednesday morning to a crest of 27.5 feet Wednesday
morning. It will then fall below flood stage Wednesday
evening.
- Flood stage is 27.0 feet.

...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in
Missouri...

Big Creek at Blairstown affecting Cass, Henry and Johnson
Counties.

South Grand River at Urich affecting Cass, Henry and Bates
Counties.

* WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
forecast.

* WHERE...South Grand River at Urich.

* WHEN...Until early Thursday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 24.0 feet, Flooding occurs across locations within
0.5 to 1.5 miles of the river. Areas affected include low lying
pastures along with cropland and secondary roads.
At 28.0 feet, K Highway is under water approximately 1 mile south
of Urich. Many other roads along the river are flooded as well.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 7:15 PM CDT Monday the stage was 26.6 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 27.1
feet tomorrow morning. It will then fall below flood stage
early Wednesday morning.
- Flood stage is 24.0 feet.

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...Portions of east central Kansas, including the following
counties, Linn and Miami and west central Missouri, including the
following counties, Bates, Cass, Henry, Jackson, Johnson and
Lafayette.

* WHEN...Until 1000 AM CDT Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 515 PM CDT, the transportation department reported that
numerous, mainly rural, roads were closed due to flooding
from earlier rainfall of 2 and 4 inches.
- Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is
expected.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Lee's Summit, Belton, Raymore, Warrensburg, Harrisonville,
Pleasant Hill, Paola, Greenwood, Peculiar, Osawatomie,
Louisburg, Knob Noster, Holden, Lake Lotawana, Garden City,
Whiteman Air Force Base, Archie, Lake Winnebago, Lone Jack
and Drexel.
