Flood Warning for the following rivers in Missouri...

Petite Saline Creek near Boonville affecting Cooper County.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Petite Saline Creek near Boonville.

* WHEN...From late tonight to tomorrow evening.

* IMPACTS...At 16.0 feet, Low lying woodlands and fields near the
creek flood.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 3:30 AM CDT Monday the stage was 7.3 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
just after midnight tonight to a crest of 16.9 feet tomorrow
morning. It will then fall below flood stage tomorrow
morning.
- Flood stage is 16.0 feet.

Missouri...

Blackwater River at Valley City affecting Pettis and Johnson
Counties.

Blackwater River near Blue Lick affecting Cooper and Saline
Counties.

* WHAT...Moderate flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Blackwater River near Blue Lick.

* WHEN...From Monday morning until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 24.0 feet, Cropland and pastures along the river
flood.
At 29.0 feet, Livestock in pastures along the river may be
endangered. Extensive damage also occurs to cropland and pasture.
At 31.0 feet, The Missouri-Pacific railroad tracks are overtopped.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 10:45 PM CDT Sunday the stage was 10.3 feet.
- Forecast...The river will rise above flood stage tomorrow
morning to 27.9 feet early tomorrow afternoon. It will then
fall early Tuesday afternoon. It will rise to 30.1 feet early
Thursday morning. It will then fall again but remain above
flood stage.
- Flood stage is 24.0 feet.

...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 11 AM CDT THIS MORNING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Portions of central, north central, and west central
Missouri, including the following counties, in central Missouri,
Cooper, Howard, Pettis and Saline. In north central Missouri,
Chariton. In west central Missouri, Cass, Jackson, Johnson and
Lafayette.

* WHEN...Until 1100 AM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 658 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the advisory area. Up to 1 inch of rain has
fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1.5 inches are expected
over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
flooding.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Sedalia, Warrensburg, Marshall, Knob Noster, Holden, Slater,
Sweet Springs, Glasgow, Whiteman Air Force Base, La Monte,
Lone Jack, Smithton, Leeton, Green Ridge, Chilhowee,
Kingsville, Houstonia, Whiteman Afb, Centerview and Gilliam.
