The National Weather Service in Springfield has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
Southeastern Camden County in central Missouri...
Southeastern Maries County in central Missouri...
Pulaski County in central Missouri...
Phelps County in east central Missouri...

* Until 645 AM CDT Monday.

* At 1243 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain
have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are possible
in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

SOURCE...Radar.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban
areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as
other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
Rolla, northern Fort Leonard Wood, Waynesville, St. Robert, St.
James, Richland, Dixon, Crocker, Doolittle, Newburg, Edgar
Springs, Stoutland, Jerome, Devil's Elbow, Northwye, Vichy,
Laquey, Swedeborg, Ozark Springs and Rosati.

This includes the following low water crossings...
Mill Creek at County Road 521, Montogue Creek at Highway E, Norman
Creek at County Road 4220, Jones Creek at Highway O, Shakerag
Creek at Highway H, Tavern Creek at Highway U and Smoky Hollow at
Highway J.

Information:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Many flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Portions of central and southwest Missouri, including the
following counties, in central Missouri, Camden, Maries, Miller
and Pulaski. In southwest Missouri, Dallas and Laclede.

* WHEN...Until 600 AM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 1240 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain
have fallen.
- This includes the following low water crossings...
Wet Glaize at Carrol Cave Road, Weimer Creek at White School
Road, Kolb Branch at Kolb Hollow Road, Dry Auglaize Creek at
Freedom Ridge Road, Atwell Creek at Highway K, Dry Fork at
County Road 407 and Maries River at County Road 211.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Osage Beach, Camdenton, Belle, Iberia, Vienna, Macks Creek,
St. Elizabeth, Linn Creek, Brumley, Ulman, Kaiser, Freedom,
Wet Glaize, Montreal, Brinktown, Old Linn Creek,
Decaturville, Green Bay Terrace, Roach, Vichy, Branch, Lake
of The Ozarks, Lake of The Ozarks State Park and Ha Ha Tonka
State Park.
