* WHAT...For the Extreme Cold Warning, dangerously cold wind chills
as low as 8 above expected. For the Extreme Cold Watch,
dangerously cold wind chills as low as 12 possible.

* WHERE...Portions of south central and southwest Alabama, northwest
Florida, and southeast Mississippi.

* WHEN...For the Extreme Cold Warning, until noon CST Monday. For
the Extreme Cold Watch, from late Monday night through Tuesday
morning.

* IMPACTS...Frostbite and hypothermia will occur if unprotected skin
is exposed to these temperatures. Temperatures this cold can
possibly damage unprotected outdoor plumbing.

Information:
Dress in layers including a hat, face mask, and gloves if you must
go outside.

To prevent water pipes from freezing; wrap or drain or allow them to
drip slowly.

Make frequent checks on older family, friends, and neighbors. Ensure
portable heaters are used correctly. Do not use generators or grills
inside.
