The National Weather Service in Wilmington has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...
West central Brunswick County in southeastern North Carolina...
East central Columbus County in southeastern North Carolina...

* Until 130 PM EDT.

* At 105 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located near Crusoe Island, or 10 miles southeast of
Whiteville, moving southeast at 45 mph.

HAZARD...Tornado.

SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.
Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree
damage is likely.

* This dangerous storm will be near...
Crusoe Island around 110 PM EDT.
Exum and Makatoka around 120 PM EDT.
Honey Island around 125 PM EDT.

extending from near Rowan to Dulah, moving east at 45 mph.
