...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHERN WAYNE COUNTY THROUGH 800 AM EDT...

At 654 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Mount Olive, moving east at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.

Locations impacted include...
Goldsboro, Mount Olive, Walnut Creek, Seven Springs, Mar-Mac,
Brogden, Cliffs Of The Neuse State Park, Elroy, and Grantham.

...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT SOUTHWESTERN WAYNE...SAMPSON AND CUMBERLAND COUNTIES THROUGH 715 AM EDT...

At 613 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Fayetteville to 11 miles northwest of
Jerome to near Duart. Movement was east at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Fayetteville, Clinton, Fort Bragg, Godwin, Spring Lake, Eastover,
Roseboro, Stedman, Garland, and Newton Grove.

This includes the following highways...
Interstate 95 between Mile Markers 65 and 44.
Interstate 40 between Mile Markers 340 and 359.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
