Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Goldsboro, Mount Olive, Walnut Creek, Seven Springs, Mar-Mac, Brogden, Cliffs Of The Neuse State Park, Elroy, and Grantham.

At 613 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Fayetteville to 11 miles northwest of Jerome to near Duart. Movement was east at 35 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Fayetteville, Clinton, Fort Bragg, Godwin, Spring Lake, Eastover, Roseboro, Stedman, Garland, and Newton Grove. This includes the following highways... Interstate 95 between Mile Markers 65 and 44. Interstate 40 between Mile Markers 340 and 359.
