At 839 AM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 2 miles east of Kennard to Omaha to Prairie Queen Recreation Area, moving east at 45 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Broadcast media reported quarter size hail at 838 AM in Omaha. This storm has a history of producing 60 mph winds. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
