CENTRAL HIGHLANDS WEST OF GUADALUPE COUNTY...

.Hot, dry, and windy conditions that develop over the Northwest
Plateau on Tuesday will spread as far southeast as the Central
Highlands on Wednesday due to strengthening northwest flow aloft and
a surface trough in the lee of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains.

The National Weather Service in Albuquerque NM has issued a Fire
Weather Watch in effect from Tuesday afternoon through Tuesday
evening, and a Fire Weather Watch in effect from Wednesday afternoon
through Wednesday evening.

* AFFECTED AREA...Northwest Plateau (Zone 101).

* TIMING...For the first Fire Weather Watch, from Tuesday afternoon
through Tuesday evening. For the second Fire Weather Watch, from
Wednesday afternoon through Wednesday evening.

* 20 FOOT WINDS...Northwest winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 40
mph.

* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...Relative humidity between 6 and 9 percent.

* IMPACTS...Any fires that develop will spread rapidly. Outdoor
burning is not recommended.
