...RED FLAG WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 11 AM THIS MORNING TO 8 PM MDT THIS EVENING... ...RED FLAG WARNING TUESDAY FROM 11 AM TO 8 PM MDT EAST OF THE CENTRAL MOUNTAIN CHAIN DUE TO STRONG WIND AND LOW HUMIDITY... .Gusty winds will redevelop today in eastern New Mexico, leading to another round of critical fire weather conditions. Wind gusts will peak between 35 and 40 mph as humidities plummet below 10% for several hours. * AREA AND TIMING...Northeast and East Central Plains (Zones 104 and 126), and Northeast and Central Highlands (Zones 123 and 125) today from 11 AM to 8 PM MDT. * 20 FOOT WINDS...West-southwest winds 15 to 30 mph with gusts up to 40 mph. Wind gusts will locally reach 45 mph near Clines Corners. * RELATIVE HUMIDITY...5 to 9 percent. * IMPACTS...Any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly. Outdoor burning is not recommended.
