...FLOOD WARNING FOR SNOWMELT REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE...

...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Nevada...

Humboldt River At Comus affecting Humboldt County.

For the Lower Humboldt...including Palisade, Battle Mountain,
Comus...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Humboldt River at Comus.

* WHEN...Until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 10.0 feet, Minor to moderate lowland flooding
throughout the reach. Some rural roads near the river begin to
flood. Very minor flooding begins in Winnemucca with storm drain
backups, and the lowest parts of town begin to flood.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 12:15 PM PDT Thursday the stage was 9.8 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 8.5 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 12:15 PM PDT Thursday was 9.8 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 10.1
feet tomorrow afternoon.
- Flood stage is 9.5 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
10.1 feet on 07/03/2011.
