Northern Scioto County in south central Ohio... * Until 830 AM EDT. * At 416 AM EDT, radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1.5 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1.5 inches are possible. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. * Some locations that may experience flash flooding include... Peebles, Lucasville, Clarktown, Rarden, Otway, Mount Joy, Ladd, Bear Creek, Wakefield, Poplar Grove, Smoky Corners, Locust Grove, Germany, Serpent Mound, Stockdale, Minford and May Hill.

Numerous roads remain closed due to flooding. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 625 AM EDT, local law enforcement reported flooding in the warned area, with high water in locations across a large portion of Pike County. Between 4 and 7 inches of rain have fallen. Some storms may produce additional rainfall later in the day. - Some locations that may experience flooding include... Waverly, Piketon, Pike Lake, Kincaid Springs, Cynthiana, Beaver, Lake White, Buchanan, Idaho, Elm Grove, Pike County Airport, Givens, Omega and Linn.
