* WHAT...This evening through 6 AM Saturday, south winds 25 to 35
kt with higher gusts, and seas 10 to 15 feet expected. For
Saturday and Saturday evening, southwest winds 20 to 35 kt with
higher gusts, and seas 9 to 14 feet possible.

* WHERE...Oahu Windward Waters.

* WHEN...For the Gale Warning, from 6 PM this evening to 6 AM
HST Saturday. For the Gale Watch, from Saturday morning
through Saturday evening.

* IMPACTS...Strong winds will cause hazardous seas which could
capsize or damage vessels.

Information: 
A Gale Warning means winds of 34 to 47 knots are imminent or
occurring. Operating a vessel in gale conditions requires
experience and properly equipped vessels. It is highly
recommended that mariners without the proper experience seek safe
harbor prior to the onset of gale conditions.

Widespread showers with embedded thunderstorms will continue to
produce frequent gusts over 25 knots and locally heavy downpours
across the Hawaiian coastal waters today. Short-lived waterspouts
will also be possible. Mariners should pay attention to rapidly
changing weather conditions and possible marine warnings.
