...SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 5 AM CHST TUESDAY... * WHAT...Seas 8 to 11 feet expected. * WHERE...Yap Coastal Waters. * WHEN...Until 5 AM ChST Tuesday. * IMPACTS...Conditions will be hazardous to small craft. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Latest altimetry data shows seas of 8 to 11 feet west to northwest of Yap. These seas are due to a northwest to north swell produced by a strong shear line currently seen north of 10N. Seas will gradually subside tonight, falling below 10 feet Tuesday morning.
Inexperienced mariners, especially those operating smaller vessels, should avoid boating in hazardous conditions.
