...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT FROM MONDAY AFTERNOON TO THURSDAY EVENING...

...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Texas...

Sabine River Near Mineola affecting Smith and Wood Counties.

For the Sabine River...including Mineola, Hawkins, Gladewater,
Longview, Beckville, Logansport...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Sabine River near Mineola.

* WHEN...From Monday afternoon to Thursday evening.

* IMPACTS...At 14.0 feet, Expect flooding of secondary roadways with
picnic and recreational areas flooded as well.  Also expect flooded
boat ramps as well.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 9:15 PM CDT Sunday the stage was 11.3 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
tomorrow afternoon to a crest of 14.8 feet early Tuesday
afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage early Thursday
morning.
- Flood stage is 14.0 feet.

Information:
Do not drive cars through flooded areas. Caution is urged when
walking near riverbanks.
