At 1141 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 8 miles west of Boys Ranch to 5 miles north of Hereford. Movement was east at 20 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Vega, Umbarger, Wildorado, Dawn, and Valley De Oro. This includes Interstate 40 between mile markers 27 and 57.
