...WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 PM EST THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Heavy snow. Additional snow accumulations between 1 and 3
inches allowing for storm total amounts of 10 to 15 inches, with
some localized totals of 15 to 20 inches over the eastern
Catskills, mid Hudson Valley and western New England.

* WHERE...All of northwestern Connecticut, western Massachusetts,
southern Vermont and eastern and east central New York.

* WHEN...Until 7 PM EST this evening.

* IMPACTS...Travel will continue to be dangerous early this morning
due to snow covered roads and reduced visibility.  Travel
conditions will improve through the day on Monday.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Steady light to moderate snowfall will
continue into early to mid morning hours before tapering to snow
showers and flurries by the late morning and afternoon hours.
Breezy conditions this afternoon may allow for some drifting of
snowfall, especially in high terrain areas.

Information:
Persons are urged to stay indoors until conditions improve. If you
must go outside, dress in layers. Several layers of clothes will
keep you warmer than a single heavy coat. Cover exposed skin to
reduce your risk of frostbite or hypothermia. Gloves, a scarf, and a
hat will keep you from losing your body heat.

Persons should consider delaying all travel. Motorists should use
extreme caution if travel is absolutely necessary.
