...FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT FROM FRIDAY MORNING THROUGH SUNDAY AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.

* WHERE...Portions of northwest and west central Washington,
including the following counties, in northwest Washington, Grays
Harbor. In west central Washington, Lewis and Thurston.

* WHEN...From Friday morning through Sunday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Moderate to heavy rainfall from a weak atmospheric river will
keep rivers on the Chehalis, Newaukum, and the Skookumchuck
running near flood stage Friday through Sunday.

...THREAT OF RIVER FLOODING THURSDAY THROUGH SATURDAY FOR THURSTON... LEWIS AND GRAYS HARBOR COUNTY...

Periods of heavy rain today through Saturday will cause rivers in
Thurston, Lewis, and Grays Harbor county to rise. Some rivers could
reach flood stage as early as Thursday. Rivers of most concern are
the Chehalis from Grand Mound to Grays Harbor, the Newaukum and the
Skookumchuck near Bucoda. Rivers will crest late this week into the
weekend.

Please monitor the latest river forecasts from the National Weather
Service for additional information.
