Water levels 2 to 4 feet above the normal high tide line, peaking during each high tide. * WHERE...Bering Strait Coast and Shishmaref. * WHEN...From 4 AM Wednesday to 10 PM AKDT Friday. * IMPACTS...Localized beach erosion may occur. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Southwest winds will steadily ramp up Wednesday into Thursday, remain strong through Friday, then gradually weaken Friday night into Saturday. Winds will peak Thursday and Friday, with gusts around 50 to 65 mph expected. The strongest winds are expected through the Bering Strait.
