...HIGH SURF ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 4 AM AKDT SATURDAY...

* WHAT...High surf expected. Water levels 2 to 4 feet above the
normal high tide line, peaking during each high tide.

* WHERE...Western Arctic Coast and Kotzebue Sound.

* WHEN...From 4 AM Wednesday to 4 AM AKDT Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Localized beach erosion may occur.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Southwest winds ramped up Wednesday into
Thursday, will remain strong through Friday, then gradually
weaken Friday night into Saturday. Winds will peak Thursday and
Friday, with gusts up to 40 to 50 mph expected.
