Additional snow accumulations of 4 to 8 inches. * WHERE...Anchorage / Eagle River (all elevations), and Lower Matanuska Valley. * WHEN...Until 9 PM AKST Tuesday. * IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. The hazardous conditions could impact the Tuesday morning and evening commutes. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Light snow and pockets of light freezing drizzle will persist through this afternoon before tapering off. A second round of snow is expected to develop by early Tuesday morning. Periods of heavier snow are possible during the Tuesday morning and evening commutes. Snowfall rates of an inch per hour in heavy snow is possible, leading to significantly reduced visibility of one half mile or less at times.
