...FLOOD WARNING FOR SNOWMELT NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE...

...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in
Washington...

Stehekin River at Stehekin affecting Chelan County.

For the Stehekin River...including Stehekin...Minor flooding is
forecast.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and is forecast to continue.

* WHERE...Stehekin River at Stehekin.

* WHEN...Until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 20.5 feet, Water inundates some properties and
overtops the temporary corduroy bridge. Company Creek Road
inundated at northern end. Battalion Creek culverts are beginning
to be overtopped. Water begins damaging Wood Road.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 10:30 AM PDT Sunday the stage was 20.6 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 19.5 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 10:30 AM PDT Sunday was 20.8 feet.
- Forecast...The river is forecasted to fall to around 20.5
feet through Wednesday and then rise above 21.0 feet Friday
night.
- Flood stage is 20.5 feet.
