* WHAT...Heavy snow expected beginning later today continuing
through Friday.  Total snow accumulations between 1.5 and 3 feet
with up to 4 feet possible on Mount Rainier. Winds gusting as high
as 50 mph this morning.

* WHERE...Cascades of Snohomish and Northern King Counties, Cascades
of Whatcom and Skagit Counties, Cascades of Pierce and Lewis
Counties, and Cascades of Southern King County.

* WHEN...Until 5 AM PDT Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult to impossible especially
Thursday afternoon through Friday evening.

If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in
your vehicle in case of an emergency. Prepare for possible power
outages.
