Mississippi River at Burlington affecting Des Moines, Lee,

* IMPACTS...At 17.5 feet, Water affects Riverview Drive in Riverview
Park in Fort Madison.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 8:00 PM CDT Sunday the stage was 17.3 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 8:00 PM CDT Sunday was 17.5 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall to 15.1 feet Sunday,
May 03.
- Flood stage is 15.0 feet.

Information:
Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
