...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Missouri...

Chariton River near Prairie Hill affecting Macon and Chariton
Counties.

...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in
Missouri...

Chariton River at Novinger affecting Putnam, Adair, Macon and
Schuyler Counties.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Chariton River at Novinger.

* WHEN...From this afternoon to late Friday night.

* IMPACTS...At 20.0 feet, Farm fields along the river begin to flood.
At 23.0 feet, Moderate flooding of farmland occurs.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 4:45 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 15.5 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage this
afternoon to a crest of 21.7 feet this evening. It will then fall
below flood stage just after midnight tonight.
- Flood stage is 20.0 feet.

Information:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars
through flooded areas.
