...WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1 PM CDT FRIDAY...

* WHAT...Heavy snow and widespread blowing snow expected. Total snow
accumulations between 3 and 9 inches. Winds gusting as high as 45
mph.

* WHERE...Lake Of The Woods, North Beltrami, South Beltrami, and
North Clearwater Counties.

* WHEN...Until 1 PM CDT Friday.

* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. Blowing snow will lead
to areas of quick and sudden reductions to visibility, making
travel difficult, especially in rural areas that are prone to
blowing snow. The hazardous conditions will impact the Thursday
evening and Friday morning commutes.

Information:
If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in
your vehicle in case of an emergency. The latest road conditions for
the state you are calling from can be obtained by calling 5 1 1.

Persons should consider delaying all travel. If travel is absolutely
necessary, drive with extreme caution. Consider taking a winter
storm kit along with you, including such items as tire chains,
booster cables, flashlight, shovel, blankets and extra clothing.
Also take water, a first aid kit, and anything else that would help
you survive in case you become stranded.
