Details: 
...HIGH SURF ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 3 AM CHST WEDNESDAY...

* WHAT...Large breaking waves of 9 to 11 feet.

* WHERE...North facing reefs of Pohnpei and Kosrae.

* WHEN...Until 3 AM ChST Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Dangerous swimming and surfing conditions and
localized beach erosion.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...A northeasterly swell with a wave period of
13 to 14 seconds has arrived, emanating from a Kona Low well
northeast of the region. This swell has a longer than average
fetch length and will persist for several days. For ow,, the
advisory is en effect through Tuesday, March 17th. However, this
will likely need to be extended further by early next week.

Information: 
Inexperienced swimmers should remain out of the water due to
dangerous surf conditions.
