Details:
...HIGH SURF ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 4 AM FRIDAY TO 4 PM CHST MONDAY... ...HIGH RIP CURRENT RISK IN EFFECT FROM LATE TONIGHT THROUGH MONDAY AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Large breaking waves of 7 to 9 feet, building to 9 to 11
feet Friday, and dangerous rip currents expected.

* WHERE...For the High Surf Advisory, north facing reefs of the
Marianas. For the High Rip Current Risk, north and east facing
reefs.

* WHEN...From 4 AM Friday to 4 PM ChST Monday.

* IMPACTS...Dangerous swimming and surfing conditions and
localized beach erosion. Rip currents can sweep even the best
swimmers away from shore into deeper water.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...A large northeast swell combined with a north
secondary swell produced by a strong mid-latitude frontal system
and a nearby shear line will produce hazardous surf along north
facing reefs and a high risk of rip currents along north and east
facing reefs. Surf will initially be between 7 and 9 feet, building
to between 9 and 11 feet Friday.

Information:
Rip currents will be life threatening. Inexperienced swimmers should
remain out of the water due to dangerous surf conditions. If caught
in a rip current, relax and float. Don't swim against the current. If
able, swim in a direction following the shoreline. If unable to
escape, face the shore and call or wave for help.
