Mississippi River at New Boston LD17 affecting Mercer and Louisa
Counties.

* IMPACTS...At 16.0 feet, Water affects buildings in unprotected low
areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 9:30 AM CDT Sunday the stage was 16.0 feet and steady.
- Forecast...The river is expected to hold around 16.0 feet
this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage early
Friday morning.
- Flood stage is 15.0 feet.

Information:
Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.
