...WINTER STORM WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM THIS EVENING THROUGH LATE SATURDAY NIGHT...

* WHAT...Periods of heavy snow possible. Total snow accumulations
between 6 and 12 inches possible. Winds could gust as high as 50
mph early this evening before decreasing overnight.

* WHERE...In Montana, Northern Rosebud, Powder River, and Southern
Rosebud. In Wyoming, Sheridan Foothills.

* WHEN...From this evening through late Saturday night.

* IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will likely
become slick and hazardous. Travel could be very difficult. The
hazardous conditions could impact the Thursday evening and Friday
commutes. Conditions may threaten young livestock.

Information:
Persons should consider delaying travel. If travel is absolutely
necessary, drive with extreme caution. Consider taking a winter storm
kit along with you, including such items as tire chains, booster
cables, flashlight, shovel, blankets and extra clothing. Also take
water, a first aid kit, and anything else that would help you survive
in case you become stranded.
