...WINTER STORM WATCH IN EFFECT FROM THIS EVENING THROUGH SATURDAY AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Heavy snow possible. Total snow accumulations between 4 and
8 inches across the valley floors, with 8 to 16 inches possible in
the mountains.

* WHERE...Big Belt, Bridger and Castle Mountains, Elkhorn and
Boulder Mountains, Helena Valley, and Meagher County Valleys.

* WHEN...From this evening through Saturday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult and tire chains may be
required for some vehicles. Those in the backcountry should ensure
they are prepared for dangerous conditions. The hazardous
conditions could impact the Thursday evening and Friday morning
commutes.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...This will be a mult-day snowfall, with lulls
in the snow at times.
