...EXTREME HEAT WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM SUNDAY EVENING THROUGH
MONDAY EVENING...

* WHAT...For the Heat Advisory, heat index values between 100 to 105
expected.  For the Extreme Heat Watch, continued dangerously hot
conditions possible with heat index values potentially between 100
to 110.

* WHERE...Carroll, Jo Daviess, and Stephenson Counties.

* WHEN...For the Heat Advisory, from 11 AM to 9 PM CDT Sunday. For
the Extreme Heat Watch, from Sunday evening through Monday evening.

* IMPACTS...Heat related illnesses increase significantly during
extreme heat and high humidity events.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Little relief is expected Sunday night with
low temperatures in the mid to upper 70s.

Information:
Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of
the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.

Do not leave young children and pets in unattended vehicles. Car
interiors will reach lethal temperatures in a matter of minutes.
