This approaches the flood of record. * WHERE...Portage River near Vicksburg. * WHEN...Until further notice. * IMPACTS...At 5.0 feet, Expect overflows into wooded areas, yards, a few outbuildings, and farmland adjacent to the river. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - The stage at 655 PM on Tuesday April 21st was 5.34 feet. - Bankfull stage is 4.5 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to remain steady above flood stage at 5.2 feet. - Flood stage is 5.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 5.2 feet on 05/20/2019. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
