...FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL FRIDAY MORNING... ...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Wisconsin...Illinois... Rock River At Newville affecting Rock County. Rock River Near Lake Koshkonong affecting Jefferson and Rock Counties. Rock River At Fort Atkinson affecting Jefferson County. Rock River At Afton affecting Winnebago and Rock Counties. Rock River At Jefferson affecting Jefferson County. ROCK RIVER near LEBANON-3 E-HWY MM BRIDGE affecting Dodge County. Fox River Near Berlin affecting Green Lake County. Crawfish River At Milford affecting Jefferson County. Fox River Lower Near New Munster affecting Lake and Kenosha Counties. * WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Rock River at Fort Atkinson. * WHEN...Until Friday morning. * IMPACTS...At 17.0 feet, Floodwaters are in the back yards of some homes on Rogers Street on the northeast side of Fort Atkinson and water surrounds a few homes and businesses at the end of Vets Lane near the intersection of Hwy 106 and Blackhawk Island Rd. These roads are flooded in the Fort Atkinson area: Sinissippi Drive, Vets Ln, Fox Hill Rd, Bark River Road from Kutz Road to Rock River Road, Rock River Rd from Milwaukee Ave E to Hwy 106, North Shore Rd, Ralph Rd. The river walkway in Fort Atkinson becomes flooded. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 3:00 PM CDT Sunday the stage was 17.0 feet. - Bankfull stage is 14.5 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 3:00 PM CDT Sunday was 17.2 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage early Friday morning and continue falling to 15.2 feet Sunday, May 03. - Flood stage is 16.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 17.0 feet on 09/07/2018. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
